Nathan Gabriel Protestades
look how far It had come
from where it was started
and look for how things are going
and look for the better things ahead
can't you see, that from pain
from a rough stormy night
those tears that had torn you
and ripped you off real tight
have somehow helped to grow
the seed you have once plow
a seed of hope that one day
unknowingly you'll move forth
watch the birds from the nest
flew to greatness and strength
a will to spread their wings
and find a shelter to rest
there is no peace left to stay
but anxiety and doubt about self
you better go and escape
these chambers of thought unsaid
there are no more caress
and does no love at best
but time is running fast
there's no need to stay in place
yet even the path onwards
is hard and rough and daunting
to run may be exhausting
to walk seems near too late
any movement matters
no matter how slow it was
later to think of where to go
first to mind the flight to luck
you flew in the night alone
in the rain, you have been soaked up
but look up high after to arrive
it's dawn with no trace of havoc
the sun smiles at you
as you sat in front of had happened
it could be the worse to remember
but to survive is a glorious attainment
